What are CPL and HPL laminate doors?
Laminate doors are interior doors whose visible surface is covered with a highly resistant laminate layer — either CPL or HPL — pressed at high temperature and pressure onto a stable core (usually MDF or laminated wood).
- CPL (Continuous Pressure Laminate) is a continuously produced laminate, slightly thinner than HPL but very resistant for residential use and medium-high traffic projects.
- HPL (High Pressure Laminate) is a high-pressure laminate, more 'solid' and robust, frequently used in high-use spaces: offices, hotels, institutions, common areas.
