Aluminium exterior door L383 made to order

from2467.5 € + VAT

Aluminium exterior door with articulated thermal break and exceptional thermal performance of 0.85 W/m²K. Robust system featuring quadruple Satinato glazing and triple EPDM gaskets for superior weather resistance.

The L383 model positions itself at the premium end of exterior door systems, combining the rigour of aluminium engineering with exceptional thermal efficiency. The 92 mm total system depth is engineered for temperate and Mediterranean climates, ensuring lasting thermal comfort and energy performance across decades of use.

The articulated thermal break of 34 mm maintains low thermal conductivity, essential for buildings meeting rigorous energy standards. The 3 mm aluminium thickness ensures structural rigidity, while the 80 mm frame depth accommodates standard masonry installation. The quadruple glazing with Satinato configuration (44.1 triplex / 5mm Satinato / 44.1 Triplex) balances light diffusion with outstanding thermal and acoustic performance. Triple EPDM gaskets create continuous protection against weather infiltration throughout the door's operational life.

The thermal coefficient of 0.85 W/m²K, certified by ift Rosenheim, positions this model among the reference solutions for high-performance residential and commercial buildings. Wind and rain resistance is assured by system construction and gasket density. Maximum dimensions of 1200×2500 mm (single leaf) or 1100×2300 mm (standard configurations) accommodate generous openings common in contemporary architecture.

Customisation is available through choice of opening systems—swing, sliding, or pivot—and surface finishes. The door integrates seamlessly into renovation and new-build projects, compatible with contemporary and minimalist design languages. Anodised or lacquered aluminium delivers durability in wet environments and direct UV exposure.

L383 is recommended for primary residential entrances, climate-controlled commercial buildings, and projects where thermal efficiency is paramount. Pairing with solid wood flooring, premium porcelain or natural stone reinforces the premium character of interior spaces.

Frequently asked questions

The thermal coefficient is 0.85 W/m²K (ift Rosenheim certified) — premium performance for articulated aluminium doors. This is achieved through quadruple glazing (44.1 triplex + 5mm satinato + 44.1 triplex) and a 34 mm thermal break, ensuring exceptional comfort in cold climates without compromising structural integrity.

The articulated system uses continuous support along the entire profile rather than concentrated hinges, distributing door weight evenly and reducing mechanical wear. This provides superior stability, smoother operation, and enables larger single-leaf dimensions (up to 1200×2500 mm) while maintaining perfect alignment and longevity.

The total system depth is 92 mm (frame profile 80 mm + door leaf 92 mm), a standard dimension that fits seamlessly into typical masonry openings between 60–100 mm, leaving room for insulation and sealing. We recommend on-site consultation to ensure precise fit within your existing wall thickness and frame.

Triple EPDM gaskets are positioned strategically on frame and sash to create a continuous moisture and air barrier. The robust profile depth (80 mm frame, 92 mm leaf) and optimized geometry redirect wind pressure and water away from critical joints. For severe coastal or alpine exposure, we recommend lacquered aluminium finishes and perimeter drainage at the base.

Satinato (frosted) is factory-integrated into the standard quadruple glazing (5 mm middle position), providing privacy and solar control. Aluminium profiles are available anodized (natural or colour) or lacquered in any RAL shade. Any glazing or finish variation requires factory customization — our team can consult you on options that meet technical performance standards.

Anodized aluminium is naturally corrosion-resistant and requires only periodic rinsing with water and gentle cleaning with neutral detergent. Lacquered finishes (RAL) provide extra protection in harsh coastal or industrial climates and should be inspected annually for minor damage. EPDM gaskets should be checked yearly and replaced if degraded. Avoid aggressive solvents and abrasive cleaners that could damage the anodize or coating.
